Pub Quizzes & Game Nights

(Note: All pub quizzes will be subject to COVID-19 restrictions, though I currently offer entirely remote or hybrid pub quizzes)

By day I’m a researcher, but by night (or even afternoon), I’m a seasoned Pub Quiz Master and Game Night Host! For a small fee, I provide my services to work places, social groups, research networks, and other groups. All offerings are unique and on-demand - I never repeat a quiz! See more details below.

Virtual Pub Quiz

Here, I offer my Quiz Master services:

  1. The infrastructure: the virtual meeting space (Zoom or Teams) and the web-based forms for answer submission. Quiz Teams can be made in advance, randomised in the moment, or a mix therein. Automatic captioning is provided within the virtual platform (but not the breakout rooms, but we can find other solutions for this).

  2. The quiz: I make a new quiz each time, guaranteed. There is also flexibility for request themes and the length or number of questions. Background of the group is taken into account, and do my best to make sure the questions are not Euro-centric.

  3. The hosting: Two options - I can host the whole quiz no problem, or I can interface with someone from your organisation who will act as the host.

This means that your pubquiz experience is relaxed and enjoyable for everyone involved, no stress! Whether for an online office party, an organisation’s mixer, or a birthday or anniversary party, I deliver a fun and slightly challenging pub quiz. More importantly, I take care of all the little details so that you can have a good time with friends. I can also offer recommendations for borrel boxes and theme nights.

Cost: Uniquely tailored quizzes are 175€-250€ (175€ for <1 hr quiz, 250€ for a 2+ hr quiz); New-to-you but less personalized are 90€-140€ (90€ for <1 hr quiz, 140€ for a 2+ hr quiz)

Availability: at least two weeks in advance of desired date.

Virtual Game Night!

Here, I offer both my hosting services as well as access to a varied library of party and table-top roleplay games that can be enjoyed remotely through the virtual meeting space (Zoom or Teams). If pub quizzes aren’t really your thing, but you want to get some friends together and have a game night, this might be the solution for you. More details with consultation.

Cost: 50€-75€ (variable)
